Our analysis of the CME decision to launch derivatives on US Treasury repo rates (Premium)

The CME announced last week that it would be creating derivatives based on the new US Treasury repo index rate that could one day replace LIBOR. This is a good move for the markets but it wasn’t quite the news we’ve been waiting for.
