Global financial services provider Apex Group announced it’s been appointed to provide front to back office solutions to FCA regulated global securities dealer Ardent Financial using Calypso Technology management and reporting platform. These services will complement Apex’s existing provision of custody services to Ardent.
Apex’s relationship with software provider Calypso, has enhanced Apex’s ability to provide independent middle and back office services to clients. Calypso’s platform will allow Ardent to complete a multitude of administrative tasks in a seamless manner through one system, streamlining everyday processes and reporting. Apex‘s Golden Source implementation framework allowed for the delivery and implementation of the system via Oracle Cloud in an expedited timeframe.
Apex will provide decision support, analytics and back office services to Ardent via the Calypso platform as part of the Apex360 solution. The Apex360 provides tailored and service focused solutions, underpinned by leading technology platforms and coupled with best in class accounting and a full service system, enabling Ardent to enhance its operating model, reduce risk and control costs.
Mayank Shah, chief strategy officer at Calypso Technology, said in a statement: “The combination of Calypso’s rich product suite and Apex’s experience in middle and back office services enabled implementation of a fully hosted environment in six weeks, with the first meeting held less than 4 months ago.”
