Baidu deploying advanced private financial clouds with Intel chips

Baidu and Intel announced new artificial intelligence (AI) collaborations for applications ranging from financial services and shipping to video content detection. In financial services, Baidu is deploying advanced private financial clouds using Intel Xeon Scalable processors and the Intel Math Kernel Library-Deep Neural Network (Intel MKL-DNN). The set up meets “the performance and security requirements of financial services companies” and the named banks for the private cloud deployment are China Union Pay, AI Bank and the Agricultural Bank of China.
