Early hints of what a Biden presidency means for US capital markets

As of this writing, it seems clear that Joe Biden will be the next president of the United States and US markets are pricing in the expectation of Republicans maintaining control of the Senate once run-off elections in Georgia are over. Biden will soon start to assemble a cabinet and make appointments at regulatory agencies. Even with a Republican controlled Senate, this has important implications for US capital markets.
