Pirum’s ESG program leads to “Carbon Neutral Plus” designation

As part of its ESG program, Pirum has been working with sustainable practices firm Carbon Footprint to understand how to minimize greenhouse gas emissions. Carbon Footprint carried out an independent assessment of Pirum’s overall operation, produced an emissions report and proposed a set of initial recommendations.

Pirum has implemented this program and is now recognized by Carbon Footprint as a ‘Carbon Neutral Plus’ organisation. This is one step in the right direction, and we continue to work on further measures to reduce our environmental impact.

Raj Sheth, Pirum’s president, said in a statement: “We are very pleased to have achieved this important milestone in attaining our independently verified Carbon Neutral Plus status. The work to reduce Pirum’s impact on the environment will continue as we look at ways to reduce our carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions by further examining our energy sourcing, travel, purchasing, and waste management processes. Pirum is committed to conducting business in a sustainable way that comprehensively supports environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations.”
