Kapil Bansal Managing Director Kapil Bansal is Managing Director and Global Head of Business Architecture, Data Strategy and Analytics at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) where he has responsibility for setting the cross-product and enterprise data strategy and transformation for the firm, delivering industry solutions for institutional clients and achieving DTCC’s resiliency and risk management objectives. Within this role, he sets the strategy and business objectives for the modernization of DTCC’s products and platforms. He also leads the Enterprise Automation function focused on enabling firmwide digital transformation. Kapil has over 20 years of experience in the capital markets and financial services industry with a proven track record as a business executive. Prior to DTCC, Kapil held a number of senior business roles in the investment banking division at Barclays, where he led the strategy and development of the firm’s industry leading global derivatives clearing business serving over 150 global clients. He also led large-scale restructuring initiatives including the post trade services utility that provided solutions to large broker dealers and buy-side clients. Before that, Kapil held senior advisory roles at management consulting firms of Booz & Co. and McKinsey, where he assisted Fortune 100 clients on variety of business issues. Kapil holds an MBA in Finance with Distinction from University of Michigan, MS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Rutgers University and BS in Industrial Engineering.

Mike Bridger is a Managing Director in the Global Liquidity Group, based in New York. He is the Global Head of Collateral Optimization, with a mandate in cross product secured funding, rates repo and best to deliver collateral. Mike joined Credit Suisse in 2010, and has 18 years of experience at various global investment banks. Mike has held roles in trading, structuring and research throughout his career. Mike earned a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University in 2003, and earned his CFA charter in 2009.

Nick Delikaris, Coinbase

Nick Delikaris is the Head of Digital Finance Trading in Coinbase’s Institutional Prime Brokerage Finance business. In this capacity, he is responsible for developing the Digital Asset Lending strategy, expanding wholesale relationships, and overseeing reinvestment strategies. Prior to joining Coinbase, Nick spent almost a decade at State Street where he was the Global Head of Algorithmic Trading managing electronic trading, portfolio optimization, quantitative research, and strategic partnerships. Nick is the co-founder and chair of the Risk Management Association’s (RMA) Financial Technology and Automation committee, and member of various other advisory boards and industry-wide working groups. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Bimal leads Transcend’s business and product strategies, working closely with major global banks to implement modular, innovative technology solutions that connect the front-to-back office for sharper funding and capital decisions. Bimal previously served in several senior roles at Citi Capital Markets Technology Division. He also led the global technology organization for Citi’s Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) businesses, and built the Prime Finance, Futures & OTC Clearing technology platform, expanding Citi’s growth. Bimal spearheaded Citi’s firm-wide post-2008 crisis strategy for Collateral, Liquidity and Margin, leading to the inspiration for founding Transcend’s next-generation collateral and liquidity management solutions.

Gary Klahr is Director, Strategic Initiatives, within the Client Relationship Management team at EquiLend, primarily focused on client engagement on new solutions. Prior to EquiLend, Gary worked for almost 20 years on the Goldman Sachs securities lending desk in New York, where he was a member of the Supply and Pricing Teams, and previously managed the securities lending product development team. Gary has also held various Treasury-related roles at both Tiger Management and Salomon Brothers.

Alannah is part of the firmwide Digital Assets team at Goldman Sachs, focused on the use of distributed ledger technology to facilitate traditional financial activity such as repo, securities lending, and the tokenization and issuance of debt and equity. Alannah also works on digital currencies, and crypto financing products. Prior to her current role, Alannah worked within the Legal division at Goldman Sachs.

Mr. O’Laughlen is a Managing Director and sits on Clearance & Collateral Management’s Executive Committee, BNY Mellon’s Digital Council & Digital Assets Steerco. He is also the executive co-chair of GENEDGE, the bank’s largest employee resource group that focuses on improving intergenerational collaboration and learning.

Dean is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Product Innovation and Business Development for State Street Global Markets as well as a member of State Street Global Markets’ Executive Management Group, and State Street’s Operating Group. Previously Dean was Head of Strategy and Business Development at BNY Mellon Markets (which is responsible for Trading, Financing, Liquidity and Collateral Management) and was a member of Markets’ Executive Team. Prior to BNY Mellon, Dean was one of the founders of Axopa LLC, a buy-side focused start-up/ venture with the objective of building, by acquiring several leading financial trading technology firms, a non-conflicted Global Markets franchise that could help the buy-side improve their investment management process. Prior to starting Axopa, Dean spent 14 years at State Street where he last served as Global Markets Chief Strategy and Administration Officer.  And earlier in his career, Dean worked at Fidelity Capital Markets and on the buy-side at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. Dean has an MBA from Boston College and an undergraduate degree in accounting from the State University of New York.  He also served as an Officer in the US Army Reserves for 21 years, and was mobilized for Active Duty in 2003.

Igor Salzgeber, FIS Global

Igor Salzgeber heads up the global product group for Securities Finance and Collateral within FIS’ Capital Markets division. The group combines all solutions and services FIS has to support the Securities Finance and Collateral markets including FIS Securities Lending Processing Platform (formerly Loanet), FIS Securities Finance Processor (formerly Global One), FIS Securities Finance Trading Manager (formerly Apex Securities Finance) , FIS Global Inventory and Optimization Platform and the FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform. The main focus of his current role is to actively drive modernization and innovation within this ecosystem to further expand the market leading position FIS has in this space. Igor joined FIS through an acquisition in 2012 and was previously appointed to run a newly formed business unit for Enterprise Collateral Management. Igor’s career in the Securities Finance and Collateral industry started in early 2002 where he was part of a startup of banking and technology experts in Zurich/Switzerland. He was one of the lead architects to design an integrated platform for Securities Lending & Borrowing, Repo, Synthetic Finance and cross-product collateral management for bilateral and cleared derivatives. He held various positions along the entire spectrum and value chain including Product Design & Development, Product Management, Implementation Services, Pre-Sales, and Business Development. Igor holds a degree in computer science and has a remarkable domain knowledge and proven track record of building innovative technology solutions for the industry.
