SFM Interview: BNY Mellon’s Gesa Benda on the ECB’s single collateral rulebook

The European Central Bank (ECB) has identified collateral management harmonization as critical to the further integration of European financial markets. BNY Mellon’s EMEA head of Clearance and Collateral Management and global head of Product Strategy, Gesa Benda, is helping to spearhead that effort, serving as chair of the ECB’s designated task force. We spoke with Benda on what market participants should be aware of as the ECB’s single collateral rulebook comes on the horizon.
