SFM Interview: SWIFT on “track and trace” for cash and securities transactions

SWIFT recently published a white paper detailing the opportunities of industry-wide adoption of the unique transaction identifier (UTI) that would allow market participants to track securities transactions end-to-end throughout the lifecycle of a trade. We speak with Vikesh Patel, head of Securities Strategy, about how the UTI fits into SWIFT’s strategy.
