The politics of an ISDA “master” agreement for SFTs (Premium)

The idea that there should be one master agreement that covers OTC derivatives, securities lending and repo rather than one for each separate product makes sense on paper. While a seemingly obvious efficiency move, there are problems to this approach for securities lending and repo that should be recognized if market participants were to move forward.
