Tradeweb’s repo ADV up 27.8% YoY to $326.8bn in September 2021

Tradeweb reported repurchase agreement ADV (average daily volume) was up 27.8% year over year (yoy) to $326.8 billion in its money markets segment in September. On a month-by-month basis, ADV is up over 3% from $316.6 billion in August.

Total trading volume for September 2021 of $21.7 trillion across our electronic marketplaces for rates, credit, equities and money markets and ADV for the month was $1.02 trillion, an increase of 17.4% yoy.

Lee Olesky, Tradeweb CEO, said in a statement: “While markets were relatively quiet in August, Tradeweb continued its trend of year-over-year growth in monthly ADV with a diverse portfolio of products. One area of strategic focus for Tradeweb has been credit, and we were pleased to see steady growth in our market share over the course of the summer.”
