Illuminate Financial announced the close of its second fund at a little over $100 million, which more than doubles its first fund. J.P. Morgan joined the latest round, which included first-round investors Barclays, Deutsche Börse and IHS Markit. Illuminate’s portfolio includes Cloud Margin, Baton, genesis, and Privitar, among others. The firm describes itself as a “thematic enterprise software investor” specific to financial institutions.
