As part of Finadium’s eighth survey of collateral management vendors, we broke out firms that provide specialized services to hedge funds and other leveraged investors. We analyzed the results to form a market-wide view of vendor activity and offer a directory of all participating firms.
The six vendors in this year’s Hedge Fund Treasury technology survey show commonalities in their expertise towards the buy-side, among them observations of the differences between buy- and sell-side firms.
Leveraged investors are working to harmonize reporting across prime brokers and products to create analyses for cost and relationship management. Meanwhile, vendors are experimenting with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies and are beginning to integrate these services into production functionality.
This survey provides readers with a product summary and coverage, market differentiators, new functionalities added in the last year, and upcoming development plans. On an industry-wide basis, we analyze the important new features that vendors are adding and what problems their clients are trying to solve.
The results of this survey are useful to financial market professionals in front office, operations, and technology, who are working to evaluate the vendor landscape.
