BBH on the 2025 regulatory outlook: “organized chaos”

Brown Brothers Harriman published a 2025 regulatory outlook, under the banner of “organized chaos”, looking at the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), private markets, the artificial intelligence (AI) explosion, and T+1 going global.

“Ongoing geopolitical shifts. Innovation in AI. A surge in global competition. 2025 is set to be a year of organized chaos,” writes BBH.

Its 2025 Regulatory Outlook includes

  • Private markets: is this the 2025 rock star?
  • T+1 is going global: there’s 999 days until EU implementation date, how can you prepare?
  • AI is everywhere: but what does the first comprehensive regulatory regime mean for its future in asset management?
  • Tokenization: the new frontier – where are we now and what’s next?
