Crédit Agricole CIB partners with quantum tech firms for financial apps

Crédit Agricole CIB has teamed up with two world quantum technology companies, Pasqal and Multiverse Computing, to apply quantum computing to real world finance applications for capital markets and risk management.

French company Pasqal is developing a quantum computer based on neutral atoms arrays, a technology currently being trialed to build industrial quantum computers. Spanish company Multiverse Computing specializes in quantum algorithms which can be run both on quantum and classical computers, which is a great advantage in terms of shortening the time-to-market.
