Interview: EquiLend’s McNulty on 10c-1a’s ambiguities and deviations

After the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) finalized rule 10c-1a in October last year, next in line was the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s (FINRA) proposed rule amendment Series 6500 to determine exactly how securities lending market participants will report transactions and data will be collected and distributed. We speak with Kevin McNulty, EquiLend’s head of RegTech Solutions, to discuss the remaining ambiguities and solutions.
