MLex: EU lawmakers postpone T+1 vote amid SFT exemption dispute

The European Parliament’s vote on T+1 was postponed to May 20, writes MLex. A majority of political groups questioned the idea of exemption securities financing. Once a stance is adopted, the European Parliament will discuss a final text with the Council of the EU before it can become law.
