Central banks are starting to signal exits from traditional and non-traditional stimulus responses to the Great Recession. The US and Canada have both turned the corner on interest rates, and have made reasonably strong statements that more rate hikes are likely. While these are good steps towards normalization, risk will need to return in order for capital markets to fill their role in the real economy.
