Last week the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) and IOSCO released a discussion paper on Simple, Transparent and Comparable (STC) short-term securitization, along with a companion report on capital treatment for securitizations that follow the STC methodology. We’d like to propose something similar for securities finance transactions.
