Central banks are watching private sector repo market capacity, but some more than others

Central banks in North America and Europe are aware that their intervention programs may have damaged private sector interest in the repo markets. We are seeing evidence of concern about what happens when central bank liquidity is returned to the markets, but this is uneven across jurisdictions.
