Arguments grow for consolidation of industry associations in securities finance and OTC derivatives

When the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) released a 2020 white paper on integration between OTC derivatives, securities finance and repo, one question was what industry associations matter in an era of greater convergence. Core themes from the recent International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) and International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) events in Vienna suggest revisiting the matter.
