Finadium goes live with SFTR database, adds OFR repo to Repo Analytics tool

Following our successful beta test, Finadium has gone live with client access to Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR) data. We are also now capturing and presenting repo data from the US Office of Financial Research (OFR) across DVP, GCF and tri-party transactions.

Finadium collects Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR) data from European Trade Repositories and provides searchable tools by flexible primary filters. The data show total volumes lent, collateral and number of transactions across repo, securities lending and more. We offer several ways to view the data in a time series format based on user needs and product type. A primary value of our user interface is the ability to drill down on data based on a preferred filter, for example starting with transaction type or cleared vs. non-cleared. Subscribers can access SFTR Data with their login.

OFR repo data deliver insight into a previously hidden corner of US repo markets: Delivery vs. Payment (DVP) at DTCC’s Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC). The data also break out GCF and tri-party transactions with greater granularity than had been previously available. While OFR data are available on OFR’s website, Finadium provides greater flexibility to search and sort the data, download into Excel and create custom graphics. The data can also be accessed alongside over 60 other US repo variables for time series analysis. Full access is available to subscribers at Repo Analytics.
