Finadium welcomes Kurt Jarnagin as Senior Consultant in Frankfurt

Finadium is pleased to announce that Kurt Jarnagin has joined the firm as a Senior Consultant. Based in Frankfurt, Kurt has already begun work on Finadium research projects and consulting assignments with banking and infrastructure clients.

Kurt has almost 20 yrs experience within the collateral and financing space, most recently at RBS. His responsibilities included creating, implementing and running financing trading desks, enterprise-wide collateral strategy, and optimisation of Infrastructure and Processes. Kurt has vast knowledge across financial products, front-to-back solutions, new product initiatives and expansion of client businesses in the trading, derivatives, financing and collateralized product arenas.

Change management is a central part of Kurt’s skill set. As Managing Director and Head of Collateral Optimisation at RBS, he created and implemented the global collateral strategy that addressed regulatory, market, client requirements and their impacts on the business model. As Global Head of Repo at RBS, he carried out the merger of RBS/ABN AMRO repo desks globally and the subsequent restructuring of the repo desk business model. At Dresdner Bank as Local Head of Equity Finance, he created a new Collateral Trading unit. Kurt has been a speaker at numerous conferences over the years including Chairman of the Euroclear Collateral Conference 2013. He has met frequently with regulators and central banks including the FSA and ECB.
