How the Basel change on settled-to-market will impact balance sheets (Premium)

The Basel Committee has issued a new FAQ on how banks need to treat settled-to-market derivatives transactions in the Liquidity Coverage Ratio and Net Stable Funding Ratio. This will renew the balance sheet squeeze on banks for cleared derivatives trades. There are still other benefits to STM however.
