Interview: BNY Mellon’s Squire on what’s happening in triparty

In a Finadium report from earlier this year, a survey of the triparty services market showed that the main client asks are “collateral mobility and a way to reduce the friction that every client sees” and “digitized collateral schedules (DCSs) that end the physical transfer of paperwork”. We speak with Simon Squire, global head of Product Management for Clearance and Collateral Management at BNY Mellon and Board member of HQLAX, about how these and other trends are playing out.
