Interview: ION’s Markman on ISO 20022 migration from FX to securities

ISO 20022 is set to become the first standard messaging language for payment systems globally, with ION’s most recent migrations being conducted for its Treasury clients, as well as Wallstreet FX client Raiffeisen Bank International. We speak with Eugene Markman, COO of ION FX and CEO of FX and futures connectivity platform MarketFactory, acquired by ION in 2019, about the status of development and implementation work as securities payments comes into sight.
