ISLA publishes 12th securities lending market report including roadmap of EU developments through 2022

We are delighted to announce the release of the 12th Edition of the ISLA Securities Lending Market Report.

The report continues to provide a platform for us all to better understand the forces that are shaping our markets today, and the implications for market participants and other interested stakeholders alike. Once again, it considers the scope and depth of the securities lending markets globally, including the key role that they play in the context of broader capital markets liquidity, as well as the mobilisation of High Quality Liquid Assets (HQLA).

Our guest contributions, which come from FIS Global and the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), focus very much on the investment landscape, including hedge funds, responsible investing and short selling. This edition also includes a roadmap of expected EU developments between 2020-22, and the potential implications for securities Lending markets.
