Korea lets a blockchain seclending platform into the sandbox – should you care?

Last week the Korea Financial Services Commission approved nine companies for its regulatory sandbox, giving them permission to experiment with new services and products without excessive regulatory burden. One of these was Directional, a “Stock lending platform based on blockchain technology offering stock lending and borrowing services for individual investors.”
