Large firm attitudes are changing towards the NSCC SFT CCP

Large market participants in securities finance have been wary about the National Securities Clearing Corporation’s (NSCC) Securities Financing Transaction (SFT) central counterparty (CCP). For agent lenders in particular, the sticking issue has been contributions to the default fund. Newer evidence however shows a change in perspective in some corners.
