Our thoughts on CCPs and repo market efficiencies

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) had a piece in their just-released Quarterly Review on CCPs and repo market efficiencies. The question is whether they help or hurt. This is an important topic that bears some consideration as buy-side direct participation in repo CCPs is growing.
