Rates & Repo event update: who is coming and featured panels

We are excited to present our inaugural Rates & Repo conference in New York on November 1. We now have over 110 registrations, with hedge funds, asset managers and other asset managers outnumbering banks and brokers by more than 2:1. Here’s who is coming and our featured panels.

We have registrations from over 110 attendees from 68 different firms. 46% of registrations have come from the buy-side, with hedge funds and asset managers the two largest groups. Banks are the second largest group at 22%.

Our panels and keynote speaker are now in place. We’ll lead off with discussions on current market dynamics and a regulatory update, including the US Treasury’s two reports this year on regulatory reform in banking and capital markets.

After lunch, we’ll look at products and client preferences in the short-term cash markets; trading and technology; and wrap up with a conversation on repo benchmarks.

Our keynote speaker is Julia Coronado of MacroPolicy Perspectives. She’ll be speaking with us right after a planned Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) and will provide her perspective on future interest rate policy.

We hope you can join us November 1 in New York for this exciting event. For more information, please visit the event website at http://finadium.com/conferences/rates-repo/.
