The Federal Reserve has issued a stern warning about leverage hidden in financial markets. What a shocker! That’s disingenuous – if the Fed and other regulators didn’t know this before, they haven’t been doing their jobs. The real questions are 1) why is now any different, and 2) do they intend to do anything about it?
