Firms wanting to be close to the trade matching and data engines for Eurex and Xetra can now use TNS’ proximity Managed Hosting, Co-location and Connectivity Service, which is available at Frankfurt’s FR2 data center, among other strategic locales.
This replaces the need for sourcing, establishing, maintaining and managing remote data center space and market access while providing ultra-low latency for both trading connections and accessing market data feeds. TNS’ network is used for mission-critical connectivity to multiple diverse trading partners. Many buy- and sell-side institutions, market data and software vendors, exchanges and alternative trading venues access it.
Mark Collins, managing director of TNS’ FinTech Solutions business, said in a statement that the Eurex market and Xetra electronic trading system are strategic additions for the network, and the move is part of expanding into managed hosting that will help the firm “broaden the portfolio of firms for which we provide connectivity”.
