MLex: EBA warns that banks will challenge fintech data sharing standards

EU lawmakers were told to expect banks to challenge enforcement of ‘screen-scraping’ standards. Banks are likely to challenge national authorities’ enforcement of EU standards that compel lenders to share account data with payment disruptors, a European Banking Authority official told the European Parliament’s economic affairs committee.
