What needs to happen for Fed reverse repo usage to decrease?

Use of the Federal Reserve’s overnight reverse repo facility (RRP) is expected to shrink in 2022 with increased availability of low-risk assets offering new places to park excess cash. We assess July 2022 data to see if the trend is now evident and what that suggests through the end of the year.
