Women in Securities Finance opens London chapter

Women in Securities Finance announced it’s kicking off a London chapter, which will be led by Harpreet Bains from J.P. Morgan and Ina Budh-Raja from BNY Mellon. 
The group’s mission statement is to foster a connection among women in securities finance to create a community, and its guiding principles are to encourage and empower women in securities finance to connect professionally, collaborate and share insights, and help promote interests.
Founded in early 2018, Women in Securities Finance members have been a presence at numerous industry events, including at Finadium’s Investors in Securities Lending (FISL) New York conference in May 2019, when Monique Boucher, Fidelity Investments’ senior legal counsel, talked on the theme of career development and the importance of “grit”.
