Should CLOs be in your collateral portfolio?

The market for leveraged loans is seeing shrinking investor demand and a chorus of central bankers warning against possible risk. These loans are a principal vehicle of private equity firms in their acquisitions and are often resold piecemeal or in CLOs. This would be a good time for cash collateral managers to ask themselves if the leveraged loan market is a buy or sell opportunity.
